José Manuel González, a professional transporter for nearly 20 years with a deep knowledge of the industry, is the creator and promotor of these antitheft deterrent systems.
Its motivation is to minimize and stabilize costs of transport companies, more and more penalized by continuous increases in the diesel price, and efforts done by companies become profitable and not in vain because of the fuel theft.
Everything is born of the serious problem existing in the transport sector, a truck tank can contain up to 1,200 litres of diesel and converted into euros represents about 2,000 €.
“After a trip to Italy, I suffered two robberies, on both ways, and returning from that trip, I had the idea to develop a system to avoid these robberies. “
As it is very easy to access to a truck and extract the fuel, and on the market, there was no product to avoid it, I decided to create a system to avoid theft and scare away thieves.
Without specific electronics knowledge, but with a lot of efforts and dedication and with the collaboration of the University of Almeria, a first system called ” GSM anti-theft fuel alarm for trucks” was developed in the framework a R + D + i project. This is a GSM system which calls you when the cap, gauge or any other internal part of the fuel tank is manipulated.
The second product, finished in April 2014, was called “Antitheft diesel fuel alarm against impacts and perforation for trucks”. It is based on an electronic system to protect against impacts and perforations in the fuel tanks of vehicles. When someone touches the tank, an alarm is activated which repels the thief.
Our products have had a good reception in the media due to the great utility of our products.
