Assembly instructions for the AGS 1112 system
The same Instructions applies to any other deterrent kit system, where you need to install a control unit and a sensor
Introduction
You have to install the AGS-1112 unit in an accessible and dry place. In the driver’s cabin.
Be sure that this unit is supplied at 12V DC through connections (+ -)
Follows the wiring connection instructions.
Sensor installation
- Install the sensor in each tank, in its internal part, close to the chassis, with a high cable length to allow this sensor cable to go out on the inferior part of its capsule. Then we will avoid water to penetrate inside and slip over the cable to the floor.
- Into each cable from each sensor, there are four wires with different colors: ORANGE-BLACK (power supply) will be connected in parallel, and GREEN-WHITE (connected without polarity), will be connected in series.
Installation of the AGS 1112 unit
- Take the power supply from one of the 12V batteries of the truck. Install a 5A fuse to protect the system against possible anomalies.
- We have to connect three cables already installed: battery supply, sensor supply and sensor contact. We will go along the chassis, camouflaging those cables with the rest of the truck installation and verifying these cables don’t touch the engine or collectors, to avoid they were damaged by the heat. At the same time, we will fix them with plastic brackets.
- In the internal area of the engine, we will fix the piezoelectric siren using the four wires completing the system installation and we will go along to the cabin, introducing these wires in the guide wires already present in all trucks. Once into the cabin, we will install and fix the control unit in the wished place with double face adhesive tape.
- Supply battery cables will be inserted in the ALIMENTACION/POWER connectors (+ -), respecting their polarity.
In the same way, supply sensor cables must be installed together with previous one, without any distinction mark, except RED (+) and BLACK (-) fixing keys. Sensor contact cables (without polarity) will be connected to SENSOR (+ -) inscription. Finally, the siren. Will be installed in the SIRENA (+ – ) position. - To activate of the system: With the tow switches in OFF Position, firstly you have to put in ON position the C central unit switch and wait during 20 sec. approx.. Then, put in ON position the siren switch. To disconnect the system, you have to put in OFF position both switched, without any importance in the order.
